150 Years of Good Taste

This red, spiral bound, plastic laminated cookbook is full of recipes from the cooks of the Bedford, Iowa area.  Many of the recipes are treasured family heirlooms. 

The recipes are divided into eight sections:

• Appetizers and Beverages
• Breads
• Salads and Dressings
• Vegetables
• Meats and Casseroles
• Cakes, Pies and Desserts
• Cookies and Bars
• Miscellaneous

The cookbook measures 8 ½ x 6 ½ inches and is 108 pages long.

The cookbook is a product of the Restoration Committee of the Garland Hotel in Bedford, Iowa. The proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will be used for the restoration of the hotel which was founded in 1857.
