EE Warren Opera House Print

This limited edition print features the historic E.E. Warren Opera House in Greenfield, Iowa.  It is original artwork in colored pencil by Iowa artist Connie Raasch. Each print is hand signed and sequentially numbered in the margin by the artist – total number of prints is 100.  The total print measures 11 x 17 with the drawing itself measuring 9 x 8, giving you adequate space for framing.  Each print comes wrapped in tissue with an information sheet on the opera house and the artist.

The opera house was built in 1896 by E.E. Warren and housed a dry goods store on the first floor.  The second and third floors were divided into living quarters facing the street side (including Mrs. Warren’s music room in the third story turret) and an opera house/auditorium in the remaining space.  The opera house was the setting for many touring road shows, talent shows and other local activities.  It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
