Keg Creek is one of the creeks flowing through Glenwood and Mills County. Mile High Lake lies off of Highway 34 in a county park southwest of Glenwood, Iowa. The county park has a scenic overlook and interpretive panels and is a quiet place to cast a line into the 10 acre lake. It offers 39 acres of fishing and hunting. Red Bud Trees are a common site and are especially beautiful in the early spring when they produce delicate magenta flowers. Wolfman Hollow is located in a picturesque area of rural Glenwood.
