“Touch of Blush” Sterling Silver and Pink Amethyst Earrings

Simple and understated, these genuine Pink Amethyst round marquis-cut stones are hung from a pair of my handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.  Tiny swirls accent the ear wires to give them an added touch of style.

Stones hang approximately 7/8” from ear wires, and are approximately 1/4” diameter at widest point.

Pure silver is too soft for general use, so additional metals (usually copper) are used to strengthen the metal. Sterling silver is .925 parts silver and .075 parts alloy.

The sterling silver used in these earrings will tarnish over time; this is a natural reaction of the alloys to oxygen.  Remove tarnish and environmental deposits from both fine and sterling silver using a polishing cloth or mild liquid jewelry cleaner.   

To care for your silver jewelry, store in a zippered plastic bag when not wearing, and limit exposure to humidity and water.
